stayed a few nights, recommend for cheaper option in city. Clean rooms, cold air con, nice beds, friendly staff. Great location, right in town centre. Showers and kitchen are clean, hairdryers provided. Basement facilities are a nice touch with kitchen, sofa, and TV. Free fast wifi. Will definitely recommend to others.

Conveniently located in the heart of the city, close to everything one might need. the room was clean and tidy with good shared bathrooms. the staff was friendly and welcoming, always there to help. the common areas were spacious and well-equipped, including a kitchen and a lounge room.
The hostel must take appropriate measures to ensure the safety of their guests at all times, especially during late hours.

I gotta say, the Kangaroo Inn in Perth was worth every penny. The room was fantastic, with comfy beds, a clean bathroom, and all the necessary amenities. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the city center and all the attractions. And the staff?
As for breakfast offerings, it would've been great to have more variety.

We had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the city center. It was so convenient for exploring the bustling area and everything was within walking distance. We loved being able to easily access shops, cafes, and other amenities just steps away from the hotel.
We highly recommend this hotel to all our friends.

The location was great, super close to the mall and the train station. Plus, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The Christmas decorations added a nice touch to the atmosphere.
The facilities were lacking. The bathrooms were dirty and there weren't enough power points near the beds.

As a budget solo traveler, I stayed at Kangaroo Inn for a few nights. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable, and all the common areas were well-maintained. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel, considering its affordable price. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the CBD, shopping street, and attractions. The facilities were easy to find, and I loved the reading room and pool table. The bright and well-maintained toilets were a pleasant surprise. The room itself was well-furnished, with personal lockers, shelves, and a table and chair. I appreciated the provided towel and laundry service, and the air conditioning was easy to control. the Kangaroo Inn was a perfect choice for my budget travel needs.
I do recommend this hotel.

Spacious and private bathrooms with the latest shower designs from Grohe were a heavenly oasis after a long day of exploring. The water pressure was like a gentle rainforest waterfall, soothing away all my fatigue and transporting me to a tranquil paradise.
Weird smell in the corridors.

Loved my Xmas stay! Free xmas drinks and cookies were a nice touch and made it feel like home. the proximity to all the shops, restaurants, and sights was perfect - I never had to take a taxi! the common areas were clean and comfortable, with plenty of space to socialize. the beds were surprisingly cozy and I slept like a baby.
WiFi was spotty and slow, and the laundry machines were outdated and rough on clothes.

I recently celebrated the New Year at this hotel and had a great time! the location was absolutely fantastic, with easy access to public transportation and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. I loved being able to explore the city center and indulge in some delicious food options. the staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.
there was a minor issue with the lighting in my room, but the staff were quick to address it and ensure that I was comfortable. although the overall cleanliness of the hotel was good, there were a few small areas that could have been more thoroughly cleaned.

My recent stay at a hostel in the city centre was great. the Kangaroo Inn provided me with a comfortable 2 bed dorm room, even though I had booked a 4 bed. the bed was cozy and there was a convenient shelf next to it. the staff was helpful, although there was a mix-up when they accidentally booked a male guest into our female room on the last night. everything else was impressive. the single room I stayed in had its own TV and air conditioning, and the hostel had all the necessary facilities. the WiFi was good, even in the room, and there was plenty of space. I was provided with my own towel, which was a nice touch. Despite the city noise, the location was perfect, with supermarkets, McDonald's, and a shopping center just 5 minutes away. Cons: Almost perfect 😕.

Lovely place with helpful staff. Felt safe, clean rooms, showers, and kitchen. Super close to the city. A bit pricey, but worth it for the charming experience of hearing the noise from the corridor in my room.

This place was mind-blowing! The bed was super comfy and there was so much space to move around. And let's talk about the aircon - a game-changer! The staff were absolutely amazing, making me feel like a star. The bathroom was jaw-dropping and the whole place was squeaky clean. Plus, the third-floor bed was top-notch. The spacious kitchen had everything I needed to cook up a storm, and don't get me started on the basement's community room and lounge area - awesome! Oh, and the book room on the first floor? It had this incredible huge window. Can't forget the convenient location near the train station, and the fact that I met so many cool travelers during my 17-night stay. And the cherry on top? There were great Malay and Japanese restaurants right next door. Honestly, I can't find a single thing to complain about - this place was just perfect. Directly across from the mall, a quick walk to the station, and seriously, it was sparkling clean and the bed was the definition of comfy.
